QA Engineer

Remote Quality Assurance Full-time

About This Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure our dental lab platform is stable, reliable, and meets the highest quality standards. You will design and execute both manual and automated tests, identify bugs, and work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly.

As a QA Engineer at Links Technologies, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the quality of software that dental labs rely on daily. Your work directly impacts the efficiency and success of dental practices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute detailed test plans for web and backend features
  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
  • Track and report defects with clear documentation and reproduction steps
  • Work with engineering teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues quickly
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) testing processes
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact
  • Conduct performance and load testing for scalability validation
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Maintain and improve QA processes and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of QA engineering experience in web applications
  • Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or Azure DevOps
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare or medical software testing
  • Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Understanding of security testing principles
  • Experience with mobile application testing
  • Background in agile development methodologies

A Day in the Life

Morning: Review new features ready for testing, prioritize testing tasks, and participate in daily standups with the development team.
Midday: Execute test cases for new dental lab management features, document any bugs found, and work with developers to clarify requirements.
Afternoon: Write automated test scripts, perform regression testing, and validate bug fixes from the development team.
End of Day: Update test documentation, review test results, and plan testing activities for the next day.
